PARKLAB Gardens & MINI-GOLF
Butterfly gardens, beer, deep-fried donuts, nordic tipi hang-out spots, and the most artful mini-golf course you've ever seen (courtesy of Stagecoach Greens) will all collide at Parklab Gardens. Watch the video above and check out what the press is saying here to learn more.
PARKLAB FIELDS
Parklab Mission Bay's soccer field is relocating and expanding to two fields in response to a steadily growing waiting list for its kids, club, and corporate leagues. Alongside the new fields we're also building a community recreation space with pickleball, volleyball, and outdoor fitness courts. All facilities will be regularly programmed with classes and events by our community partners.
PARKLAB COMMONS
The current Mission Bay soccer field has already hosted scores of events, festivals, and classes unrelated to sports. When the soccer program relocates down the street, however, the programs will amplify. We'll be revamping the space to be a flexible programming and event venue and a central commons for Mission Bay's Parklab,.
BAYFRONT PARK
Positioned with stunning views of the San Francisco Bay and its iconic Bay Bridge, this 5.5-acre waterfront park will feature walking and biking trails, a range of gathering areas, a large central green. It will also serve as the gateway to the new Warriors Arena under construction across the street as well as a new ferry landing. The design celebrates the industrial heritage of the port of San Francisco and incorporates large pieces of bay bridge steel reclaimed as part of a public art initiative, following a seismic upgrade project. Our team has led this project through outreach, design, permitting and will continue through construction and city acceptance.
Huffaker PARK at MISSION CREEK
Huffaker Park, tucked behind the houseboats of Mission Creek Harbor is a beloved, tucked away spot. Currently, however, it is hemmed in by undeveloped land. Building on an extensive community engagement process, we are spearheading the renovation and vast expansion of the park, as it extends underneath the adjacent freeway, doubles the size of its community garden and connects to San Francisco's Bay Trail and the adjacent park system.
